Hi Anthony Giacomin, (Stage 5 trading)
My acc in TransAct at moment; and not live in USA.
you have told us about your commission rate about micros.
Can you tell me about your rules:
1. Moving funds. how much for move in/out?
2. Inactive account. How long will start charge and how much will charge?
3. Margin call. for small Acc, always using leverage. accident (E.G. internet problem) could left positions running till end of day. in this kinds situation, you will close the positions at end of the day; or close and give margin call; or let it running and give margin call? How much will charge?
Thanks

Hi Trader,

Thanks for your message and happy to hear you are considering making the move to Teton Order Routing. I think you will like it once you get up and running, and as an ex-Infinity/TransAct broker understand your pain in the interim.

Please find the answers to your questions below in bold.

1. Moving funds. how much for move in/out? Since you are an international resident you would be able to withdrawal funds via wire which costs $40. If you were in the US we could send you a check for free.
2. Inactive account. How long will start charge and how much will charge? As of now, there are not inactivity fees at Dorman Trading or Advantage Futures. I don't expect for there to be any assessed in the future, but if there are we will certainly let you know ahead of time.
3. Margin call. for small Acc, always using leverage. accident (E.G. internet problem) could left positions running till end of day. in this kinds situation, you will close the positions at end of the day; or close and give margin call; or let it running and give margin call? How much will charge? Typically, we will try to reach out to you and give you an opportunity to manage the position yourself. At that time you could always request our risk desk to manage it for you and close/reduce your position. This is free of charge, however if it were to become a habit then a broker assisted fee would be assessed and we would let you know when that would be the case. If the account does go on margin call then a $50 margin call fee will be charged.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or we can assist with anything further.

Thank you,
Anthony

I’m very confused.
For TrasAct user, change to P11, that is an independent Sc. Isn’t it?
Why using an independent Sc, use your Denali date feed, can’t get real time data when updating to >V.2354?
Thanks

You will be able to:

Why using an independent Sc, use your Denali date feed, can’t get real time data when updating to >V.2354?
However , in the case of CME Group data be aware of the information here:

Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges (Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges)

All Service Packages of Sierra Chart, are independent from any broker, but there are CME Group rules which apply for real-time data from them.

For Transact users we are going to do the following at the beginning of September 2022:

1. If a Sierra Chart user is using the Transact service, then we are going to change your Service Package to 10 or 11 depending upon whether you are using 3 or 5 respectively.

There will be no cost for this Service Package change.

2. We will activate the CME Group top of book exchange on your account. Normally there is a free trial for this for the first month. If there is a cost we will cover this cost. The normal fee for this is 3.50USD/month.

You will then be using the Denali Exchange Data Feed with no dependency upon Transact data and will have reliable comprehensive market data for Sierra Chart. More information:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

3. We will need Transact users to complete the CME market data agreements here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements

You will need to login, if necessary. That can be easily done by selecting Help >> Account Control Panel from within Sierra Chart

I switch to P11 from last month. The chart is separate from TransAct trade. Place trade (live or sim order) on transact DOM, unable see the position on chart.
When I update the chart to current Version after switch to P11, see it working, but don’t know when the chart changes to deleted 10 minutes; It’s not fun! Then I was told, I must be down grade the old chart version to fit TransAct data feed.
The question is, you told us we can switch to P11 several months ago, what’s for? I have kept the same version of the chart, but the chart is unable to place trade.
The benefits are paying more and unable trade and see trade on chart.

I've gotten the same messages, and all they do is send you from link to link with walls of text. I think, the bottom line is they don't want anything to do with Transact, and Transact clients. It's time to change to different charting software, we're definitely not welcome here, anymore (almost 15 years with Transact/Sierra combo).

we're definitely not welcome here, anymore (almost 15 years with Transact/Sierra combo).
Why do you say that? This is not true when you consider all of the effort we have gone through to ensure a smooth transition, for Transact users for market data and trading functionality independent from individual brokers.

the bottom line is they don't want anything to do with Transact,
Definitely yes. And also Transact is now Ninja trader.

and Transact clients.
No.

It's time to change to different charting software,
How does this help you? What software would you use?

Why not just stay with Sierra Chart?

What are you going to accomplish with a different charting software that truly would help you?

We can provide you a full data feed for Sierra Chart independent from any Trading service but if you are trading the CME Group, due to CME market data policy, which is their policy and not our policy, there has to be a way to verify you have a funded account . All of this is detailed here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

We are offering you better solutions, at a lower cost. To say you are not welcome makes no sense. And also to go somewhere else makes no sense.

To trade from Sierra Chart to Transact you will need to use an older version that still supports Transact:
Does this mean we can use the latest version of SC or we will have to downgrade to an outdated version?

But really we would rather you just move to Teton order routing and have a superior level of service:

Are you trading the CME group or EUREX?

What questions do you have?

I switch to P11 from last month. The chart is separate from TransAct trade. Place trade (live or sim order) on transact DOM, unable see the position on chart.
In newer versions that do not support Transact, you will not see any trading information from Transact in Sierra Chart.

When I update the chart to current Version after switch to P11, see it working, but don’t know when the chart changes to deleted 10 minutes; It’s not fun! Then I was told, I must be down grade the old chart version to fit TransAct data feed.
You do not have to go to an earlier version of Sierra Chart. You definitely should be getting real-time data since you are paying the CME exchange fee. So you are not getting real-time data?

The question is, you told us we can switch to P11 several months ago, what’s for?
If you are using a newer version of Sierra Chart you would need to change to package 10 or 11 to access real-time market data independent from your Trading service. So that is necessary. And will be necessary, effective the beginning of September.

I have kept the same version of the chart, but the chart is unable to place trade.
The benefits are paying more and unable trade and see trade on chart.
Yes, trading with Transact is not supported in newer versions. This is why we strongly recommend moving to Teton order routing:

As many of you know, I am an ex-TransAct/Infinity Futures Broker, I fully understand the disruption of making changes to your trading setup can cause. With that being said, I truly believe these changes by Sierra are fully in traders best interest and have seen the enhancements first hand. In my opinion, they are top notch and think you will feel the same if you make the transition. I also believe you will save money with lower costs through this solution.

With that being said, Stage 5 takes great pride in helping Transact/Infinity traders transition as seamlessly as possible. I would like to offer you the ability to talk with a Stage 5 broker and learn more about the Sierra enhancements as well as the process of migration. pay you $49.5($36+$10+$3.5) for P11, that include your data feed and level one data fee! why say i didn't pay data fee? I pay both (you and TransAct) data fees.
when I ask you why my chart can't get real data, you said I must be go back to old version.

No we did not. This is what was said. You even quoted it:
"You do not have to go to an earlier version of Sierra Chart. You definitely should be getting real-time data since you are paying the CME exchange fee. So you are not getting real-time data?"

I pay both (you and TransAct) data fees.
If you move to Teton order routing you do not have to pay fees twice.

No you definitely do not have to do that.:
when I ask you why my chart can't get real data, you said I must be go back to old version.

If you are having a problem with real-time data start a new support request on this board and we will help with that.

The important is, give people a clear picture, what is your plan.
A detail of service of P10, P11; what chart version can be using, does the chart link to live trade?
At moment, paid P11 and data fees, the chart version must rollback to <V.2353, same as P5, to get live data; but the chart is unable link to trade service. That is not an independent chart!!! Nobody likes this kind service.
