It depends on what you are looking for in terms of "currency pairs". If you are referring to Currency Futures from the CME Group, then those are traded on the same CME exchange as the S&P 500, so they would be included when you setup the data for the S&P 500.

But, if you are looking for FOREX data, then we have data from FXCM for free with any Sierra Chart package.

It just depends on what exchanges and data you need, as the exchange fees can vary from $1.25 to $33.00. To get the Denali data for the CME Group, follow these instructions (note that you will need to change your package to Package 11 to get the data):

Also, make sure you understand the CME Group requirement that you have a live, funded, futures trading account to which you can connect your Sierra Chart at least once a month to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees. Refer to the information here:

Yes, the data from FXCM for FOREX and CFD is real-time data.

Yes, you would need to pay the exchange fee for the S&P 500 real-time data as noted above.

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:

The instructions mention the possibility of disabling Custom Symbol Settings. Definitely do that.

After that:

Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.

Ok, the symbols may not actually be valid. Maybe there are hidden characters which we cannot see.

Or perhaps there is a problem with requesting Symbol Settings.

We want you to open a new chart directly through File >> Find Symbol >> Futures-CME.

Let us know if you then get a chart.

User called and problem sorted out. We disabled the use of custom symbol settings.

Sometime later this evening after the markets close, we would like you to exit from Sierra Chart and Delete this file:
C:\SierraChart\SymbolSettings\CustomSymbolSettings.scdataallservices.xml

This will eliminate the possibility of any future issues.
