Feature Request: disable Main Sierra window (in detached mode) coming to foreground

I realize this might sound trivial but it is one of those things that for some people happens a lot and is annoying. This is related to when you have chartbooks detached. When you click a toolbar, it will bring the main sierra window (the one with the menu on it) to the foreground. This means that if you have part of hidden behind a chart (which is common for users on smaller screens like a laptop), the main window will come to the front, overlapping part of the chart window... so then you must click the chart window to bring that back on top of the main window. So it would be great if either clicking on a control bar will not bring the main window to the foreground... OR... have a setting somewhere where the user can disable this behaviour.
