Good day,
I recently open an account with AMP and have some questions about the Sierra Chart platform.
I am looking for a very simple DOM and chart that allows me to place trades. I am not looking for any fancy technical analysis tools, just a very simple DOM and chart to view my buy/sell and profit/loss and the price latter. The exchanges I will be using are CME and Eurex. I have attached a screen shot of the type of platform I am looking for.
I tried setting up a demo account however AMP informed me that this option is no longer available.

My questions are:
1) How can I play around with the DOM and chart to see if I can have the simplicity I am looking for
2) If I am trading through the CME exchange and only need to view the live markets on Eurex exchange do I have the option to have access to both live markets even though I will be only trading the Mini S&P futures and only need access to Eurex for analysis and studying
3) In terms of my computers spec it is i3 windows 10 with 8GB ram and 512 GB SSD. Is this sufficient in terms of compatibility, speed and stability of the platform and market movement

First of all, we do not know why AMP would have told you that a Trial (demo) is not available. We offer a 15 day trial of our software. Just follow the instructions at the following link to get this setup for your account:
Sierra Chart Trial Account and Account Activation

1) Get setup with the trial as we specified above, and then you will have access to our Delayed Streaming Data for the CME Group, EUREX, CFE, and NASDAQ TotalView. Refer to the information at the following link:
Delayed Exchange Data Feed

We recommend using the delayed data to start, as it acts like real-time data, but does not cost anything.

2) Yes, you can trade the CME only and get data for the CME Group and EUREX at the same time.

3) It's a bit of a light computer, but it really depends on how many charts you open, how much data in each chart and what kind of indicators you use. You will just need to try and see how it works for what you want.

Your account has been activated and the usage time extended if necessary.

If Sierra Chart is running, it will automatically be activated within about three minutes. However, you may need to exit from the Sierra Chart charting and trading software by selecting "File >> Exit". And then open Sierra Chart through the icon on your desktop or through the desktop Start menu.

After your Sierra Chart usage time ends you need to pay for additional usage time through "Help >> Add Usage Credit".

Dear John,
Much appreciate your prompt attention.
I will be subscribing to the paid version once I get more comfortable with trading the platform. My question is once I customize the DOM and the charts on the demo version and upgrade to the live/paid version of the platform will my setting be erased, meaning do I have to re-customize my platform?

Thank you very much for your help.

Have a wonderful day.

Dear John,
Much appreciate your prompt attention.
I wanted to test the speed and compatibility of the platform since my computer is a bit weaker then the actual requirement stated in the website. My question is do I have the option to activate just the Exchanges for both CME and Eurex and connect it to the demo to view the live market?
Please see attached these are the two exchanges I will be activating. Please see attached.

Thank you for your help.

Please do not bother activating any exchanges. You do not need the monumental complexity of the CME. Use only the Delayed Exchange Data Feed:

Delayed Exchange Data Feed

You simply do not need real-time data. The streaming delayed data is more than sufficient:

Good day,
The reason I wanted to try out the real data on the demo is because you mention that the spec of my computer maybe weak to support the platform.
Thank you for providing the links.

Use Trade Simulation mode only. Documentation:
Trade Simulation

Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services".

Press "OK"

And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service)

Good day,
Thank you very much for your help I manage to set up the platform and is working just fine.
I received an email from Sierra Chart in regards to my trial ending on June 3. I have not had the chance to fully try out the demo as I had difficulty with connecting and placing trades and trying out the platform. May I ask for permission to have extra week or two to try out the demo now that it is fully functional.

Have a good day.

Thank you

Thank you very much for the extension.
May I ask when does the demo expire and also which package best describes the demo version?

I am looking for the live intraday quote/data and charts for Futures EUREX and CME (Realtime) with symbols (FDAXM22-EUREX), (ESM22-CME) and (MESM22-CME). I am not looking for any complicated analysis tools just to see the live markets on a chart as in the demo version and have access to simple tools like drawing horizontal and vertical line on the chart. Which package best suits my need? As I a stated before I love the simplicity and stability of the Sierra chart and mostly the Trading DOM. I would appreciate your suggestion in terms of which package would be best.

Thank you for your prompt attention.

Good day,
I am in Toronto Canada and the time zone is (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) as shown on my laptop.
For the live intraday data for both E-Mini S&P500 Globex with symbol ESM22-CME and Dax Eurex with symbol FDAXM22-EUREX I am not sure how to select Time Zone and Session Times. I have also attached screen shot of what is showing on my settings.
Please advise.
Thank you

My apologies, I forgot to mention that for Sierra Chart Time Zone Settings there is no option to select Toronto Canada in the list, I chose New York time zone since it is also Eastern standard time. I have attached a screen shot of the chart time setting and updated session times. Please advise.

First of all, there are two places to set the time zone. There is a Global setting which is accessed by selecting Global Settings >> Time Zone, which you want to set to the time zone for which you want most (if not all) of your charts to use. It sounds like you want your charts to be in the Eastern Time Zone, therefore set this Global Time Zone to Eastern. We do not have options for every major city in the Time Zone options, you need to select the time zone that matches up with yours, or you can use the "Other/Custom..." time zone settings to setup your specific time zone.

Then there is a per chart time zone under Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times. This should be set to Use Global Time Zone unless you want this specific chart to be a different time zone from the Global Time Zone.

Your Session Times will always be relative to what the chart time zone is set to. What you have for your Session Times looks fine, but it depends on the specific symbol. In general, the default Session Times should work for your symbols.

Refer to the information on Time Zones here:
Time Zone Setting

Good day,
I am in the process of signing up to connect to the paid live Sierra Chart and I wanted to ask for your guidance to confirm if I am following the correct step.

My brokerage firm is AMP and I have already funded my account and sent a request to AMP that I will be using the data feed Sierra Chart - Denali- CQG (No Data - Order Routing Only).
AMP provided me with CQG user name.

The steps I am going to complete is as follows:

1) Sign up for Exchanges: EUREX Historical and Real-time Data $25 USD/month, CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts $11 USD/month

2) Sign up for Standard Sierra Chart plus Denali Exchange Data Feed (Service Package 10) Price: 36 USD/month

My question is that are these the only steps I need to complete to be able to trade and have access to the live quote for both markets ESM22 and DYM22?
Second question is now that I am on a free trial until June 10 what happens to the free version I am currently using once I activate both the exchange and Sierra chart?

Thank you for your attention.

Just make sure you do the following:

1. Follow these instructions to get setup for the CME Group data:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

Then follow these instructions to get setup for the EUREX data:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges*

2. The instructions to change your package are part of the first things you need to do to get the data above (when you are setting up to get the CME Group data).

You also need to go through the following steps to get connected to your CQG account:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

--

In terms of your trial time - if you select a paid package before your trial is over, then those trial days are gone. We can give you those days in your selected package if you ask us to do so. In other words, just let us know that you did not use x number of days of your trial and would like them added to your current paid package.

Good day,
1) Does the Standard Sierra Chart plus Denali Exchange Data Feed (Service Package 10) Price: 36 USD/month have chart drawing option?

2) Where can I read further on what tools this package contains?

3) Is Package 10 sufficient for accessing both CME and Eurex as well as having access only to drawing tools on the charts? I am asking this since the other options that advanced package contains I will not be using only drawing on charts and seeing the DOM and live charts.

Thank you for your attention.

1. Package 10 includes all the Drawing Tools except for the Drawn Volume Profile (which is part of the Advanced package).

2. The packages are defined at the following link:
Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages

3. From what you state Package 10 is all you need. Even if you find you need something later you can always change your package and we adjust the End Date of your Usage Time based on the difference in cost of the packages.

Good day,
As I will be subscribing to both CME and Eurex data feed i am not sure how I would be able to view the price latter and chart for both. I did read about “Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time” but the article is about if I am using a another trading service.
Please advise.

Thank you for your attention.

You can access data from multiple exchanges in a single installation of Sierra Chart. This is not a problem.

We do recommend using the Denali Exchange Data Feed:

Good day,
My apologies to take your time once again in regards to the Time Zone and Session Times for S&P and DAX. I have circled in blue the parts I would require further clarification please. Please see attached.

DAX opens and closes at 1:10 am - 10:00 pm CET which in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (my time) is from 19:10 pm - 16:00pm.
The original session start time and end time in the setting was 20:00:00 - 15:59:00. I changed the session time to 20:10:00 - 16:00:00 and left "Use Evening Session" as NO.

My question is why does the charts for both DAX begin at 20:15 instead of 19:10 and S&P opens at 18:00 instead of 17:00. The timing for both charts are 1 hour ahead and I am not certain if this time difference is because Chicago is 1 hour behind compare to my time. Please clarify if I need to make further modification to both session times for either S&P and/or DAX.

Thank you for your attention.

Use a time zone appropriate for each chart based upon location of the exchange:
Time Zone Setting: Using Different Time Zone in Individual Charts

You cannot use a US time zone, for EUREX. That will not work properly.

Do not use a single time zone.

And then set the Session Times to the default:
