TradeSymbol bound on QuoteSymbol

The Watchlist is very useful, but also has shortcomings. When switching the symbol, the tradesymbol doesnt change accordingly. Is there a setting where i can automate the change in the QuoteSymbol? Another feature to think about: I have chart of different symbols linked together so that i can switch timeframes for all symbols in one klick. I would also like to be able to change the symbol (and quotesymbol) for a single group of charts. Right now i cant do that because i have to choose between symbol or timeframe linked charts. The better way would be: if i change symbol, the all linked charts changes symbol. If i change the time frame of the same chart, then another group of charts changes the tf but not the symbol. So it needs a second link for the same chart and according to the subject changed the link gets chosen. Can you implement that? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-05-18 06:39:39

Do i have to adjust the trade symbol in the global symbol settings each time a new contracts trades? Because "MGC?##_FUT_CME" as trade symbol for Gold does not match "?##" with the current quote symbol. You also did misunderstand me regarding symbol linking. Chart 1 is symbol linked with chart 2,3,4,5 ect. Chart 1 is also time period linked with chart 6,11 and 16. Thats what i am looking for. Because right now this is not possible. You also did misunderstand me regarding symbol linking. Chart 1 is symbol linked with chart 2,3,4,5 ect. Chart 1 is also time period linked with chart 6,11 and 16. Thats what i am looking for. Because right now this is not possible. Any chart property is linked under 1 link number only. It is possible to have different items linked for different charts. Therefore chart 1 can be both Symbol and Time Period linked and then charts 2, 3, 4, 5 can only be Symbol and charts 6, 11, and 16 can be only Time Period. Then when you change the symbol of Chart 1, charts 2, 3, 4, and 5 will change symbol, but when you change the time period only charts 6, 11, and 16 would change time period. Ok, Thx. Pls give us an option in the symbol settings to permanently link a micro contract as trade symbol to a quote symbol. Maintaining this manually is just hideous. Looks like you have everything in place for that. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-05-18 18:19:13
