Up until about 6 months ago I didn't have any issues with this but now my Daily OHLC studies show the lines from the previous day even though I have "Number of Days to Calculate" set to one. I have 3 charts in each chartbook and 6 chartbooks open, so I have to select each chart, open the Studies window and then click OK and the lines from yesterday disappear, that is 18 charts so 18 times I have to do this. Like I said above, this never happened until about 6 months ago. Can you set up a button to click so they all disappear at once instead of having to go to each chart? Or at least a Control Bar button for each chartbook so I can only select it 6 times?

Thanks

What you are seeing is the general way that Sierra Chart works. As long as you have not had any reason to recalculate the chart, it will keep the previous information from the studies on the chart. One way to deal with this would be to close the Chartbook(s) and reopen them which would force a recalculation. You could also select each chart and select Chart >> Recalculate (which has a default keyboard shortcut of Ctrl-Insert).

But the easiest way to resolve this would be to add the Chart Recalculation - Periodic study to each chart and set the Recalculation Time in Seconds to 86400, which is the number of seconds in 1 day. If you add the study in the morning at one point, then it will force a recalculation at that same time each day, which will remove the extraneous lines.

This does not work!

I assume since "Edit >> Recalculate All Charts" didn't work the study won't work either?

We do not need to see the Chartbook. We have implemented a solution which will be out in the next release.
