In any text box of menu, the text may be inserted only by typing. In older versions of SC these commands used to work.

Remove the keyboard shortcuts for the Spreadsheet Cut, Copy, Paste commands through Global Settings >> Keyboard Shortcuts. In the next release these will be removed.
