[Feature Request] DOM - Clear Recent Bid/Ask Volume that haven't been revisited since x ms

Dear Sierra Chart Support,

I use my DOM with the Reset Recent Bid/Ask Volume on Bid/Ask Change turned on for legibility.

I would like to have the ability to automatically clear the Recent Bid/Ask Volume columns but only at prices which haven't been revisited since x amount of time. This amount of time could be a rolling value.

Another possible version of that feature would be to have the Recent Bid/Ask Volume numbers opacity gradually diminish to 0 over a configurable period of time if they're not revisited. This would honestly be a great feature.

Jigsaw offers something relatively similar called "Momentum Tails" (Here's a very short video showing what MTs are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK7muEtCMMw).

I think this would add tremendous value to Sierra's DOM, as it would really help to visually gauge momentum and keep the DOM clean and uncluttered.

I have seen a few users requesting something similar on the Support Board in the past, so I'm taking the liberty to ask you to consider it. I don't know if that would be easy to implement or not.

Thanks,
P.

+1 would love to have this feature supported for those of us that trade using the DOM.

We have set this as a Feature Request.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Thanks John. I am willing to pay for this feature to be added if needs be. Particularly the more complex version where numbers gradually fade.

Best,
P.

Thank you for the offer to pay, but we are just too busy with many projects right now and do not have the time to get to any particular development.

+1.
I would definitely like this feature. Not particularly for the numbers to fade but much better imo to completely disappear after x seconds or even after the already present timeout.

Keeping the old numbers clutters the dom and doesn't add any value at all.

In thin products that move up and down without trading through every price along the way, these columns are useless in their current implementation. Clearing them after a user specified interval would put this back into the useful tools category.

This is one of the main reasons stopping me from moving from Jigsaw to using only Sierra Chart
