The answer is that when we notice there is less than 30 minutes from the last Date-Time in the chart to the current Date-time, then therefore a request is not allowed in order to prevent users from constantly disconnecting and reconnecting and causing excessive query load on the server which we have to pay for . OK, I understand now.. It's because I'm still a newbie with SC and have been fiddling with your Excellent software. So I have been deleting and downloading to update the historical data. Soon enough I'll have an trading account with a live feed. I Thought I read somewhere that even with package 3 that I could update up to 500 times without penalty and that package 5 was 1500 times. Is that not correct?

Update, I started SC for the first time this morning and got the same error log about less than 30 minuets since last record. But this was my first of the day. OK, here's my update: I walked away from my computer and came back 4 hours later. I closed SC and restarted it and got the same error log as above but with the new time. So where does this "Less than 30 minutes" come into play? SC Historical Data: Connected. I Thought I read somewhere that even with package 3 that I could update up to 500 times without penalty and that package 5 was 1500 times. Is that not correct? This is correct. But there is also the condition where if there is less than 30 minutes missing in an Intraday chart when using the Sierra Chart Historical Data service, the download will not occur. We know why those messages occur, and you can safely disregard them. It happens because there a second download which occurs upon the connection to the data feed.
