Hi,
I recieved an email from sierra chart with a new username, followed the steps to create a password and to then change my data feed to cqg. I can login into sierra chart yet when i change the feed to cqg, it brings an error message saying incorrect username or password. I'm unsure if ive done something wrong, or not as ive followed each step numerous times now and still have the same outcome. Ive also tried switching to cqg with my previous username and that has the same outcome.

Any help on the matter is much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Joe Thorp

If you are getting an error stating that your CQG Username or Password is incorrect, then you will need to talk to your Broker to ensure that you have the correct credentials, or possibly reset the password for them.

Thanks for the response.
I have realized I need to activate services for my new account with sierra chart, although because ive had to login with a different username, there is no account balance showing and I cannot activate denelli. Is there a way that you can transfer my account balance to the new account, please?

The account with which you have logged into this Support Board is a valid account. You are paying for this account through AMP.

But we also see that you have another active account. You will need to decide which account you want to move forward with and let AMP know which account that is. Then let us know how you want to proceed and will make sure you are setup properly.

It is this account that I would like to proceed with, please. I have notified AMP of this. I have added a balance to this account in the hope of getting set up as soon as possible. I am seeing that i need to activate denali exchange on this account, which is what i needed the balance to do. Would the set up be possible to do from your end?

within the list of services, there is no 'activate' button showing. Therefore it doesnt seem possible to activate services on this account for some reason.

Since you will continue with this account, you are paying for the services through AMP. That includes the Denali Exchange Data Feed. You need to let AMP know that you have completed the agreements and that you need them to activate the exchange(s) that you want.

---------------

On a separate issue, please start an Account Support Ticket to get your other account closed, as it has usage time and funds in the account that we can move to your "current" account. You can access the Account Support Tickets here:

Hi, AMP have told me the following. "we enable the CQG routing, and exchanges get selected by SC and AMP enable on our
end once they have added your request". I'm a little lost with what I need to do to get my data feed sorted now so any help and clarification would be much appreciated. Thanks

Since your account is setup to pay for the Denali Exchange Data Feed through AMP, you now need to let them (AMP) know that you have the agreements signed and that they need to activate the exchange(s) you want. They will take care of getting the exchange(s) activated at which time you will then have the live data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Hi, I am told by AMP that I'm all set up there end, yet my account still doesn't show this. I am aware I may be doing something wrong however I cant figure out what it is. My account control panel is asking me to activate services, still. Is it a case of waiting for things to update?

I have tried changing data feed to CQG webapi and it is giving an error message, username or password incorrect, even though they are not.

The first thing is with respect to the data feed. Let AMP know that you are setup to pay for the Data Feed through them an that they need to activate the exchange(s) you want. Until they take care of that, you will not get any real-time data.

You should have your service set to CQG WebAPI. If you are getting the error message that the Username or Password are incorrect, then one of them is incorrect, as that message is coming from CQG. Refer to the information in item #5 here:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Common Error Messages

Hi, Thanks for the response. I have it sorted with AMP now. I have connected to CQG webAPI through global settings and my symbols are correct, F.US.MESH21 for micro e-mini sp500 march 21, yet I am still getting no data through. Volume on quote board is at 0 for all symbols and the charts coe up with a message saying "symbol unknown, real time data not allowed". I've also noticed that my DOM and market profile charts are now blank. Is this because I'm on the wrong package? (package 3)?

We are still not seeing an active exchange. You need to wait for AMP to get the exchange activated.

Also, once that is done, then select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service to make sure that all the symbols in all the charts are updated to the proper CQG symbols. Refer to the information here:

Moving from TT to CQG routing.

When I translate CME symbols, it all seems fine. However, my intraday charts for Eurostoxx50 ( F.US.DSXH21 ) and sugar11 ( F.US.SBEK21 ) continuous futures have resulted in blank charts, while the daily ones seem fine.

How can I fix that ?

We cannot help with ICE data when using CQG but for real-time EUREX data you just need to complete the EUREX agreement and activate the EUREX exchange here:

I thought we were told that the data was DENALI and only the routing was changed to CQG...

When the routing was through TT I had access to DELAYED data from ICE and EUREX, which is the arrangement I want back. Besides the "allow support for Sierra Chart data feeds" is ticked. So what is the issue now ??

Please advise.

You should still have Delayed data from ICE and EUREX. The ICE data is not streaming, but will update based on the setting in your Data/Trade Service Setting. The EUREX data should be streaming but delayed by 15 minutes.

If you are not getting these, then let us know.

If I was getting F.US.DSXH21 and F.US.SBEK21 delayed intraday data, do you think I'd be bothering my favourite software developers ????

No, I'm not getting them. The funny thing is that I get them only in DAILY Historical version ( until Friday, nothing today ) but not intraday.

The only thing I've done is Translate Symbols to Current Service. It performed the CME group ones but blanked Eurex and ICE.

Fix, please.

When using CQG, Sierra Chart data is not provided unless you are using one of the Sierra Chart Data Feeds and pay the corresponding exchange fee for that symbol.

So the information in post #18 is not applicable to CQG.

I'm sorry but you're not making any sense. Based on your recommendation I have switched order routing from TT to CQG Web API and was told that the datafeed I would be receiving was still Denali and all symbol conversion for the routing was taken care of internally.

So, I'm not using CQG. I'm using Denali datafeed and then routing through CQG. Funnily enough, if I change from CQG Web API back to SC Futures Order Routing or even SC Data All Services I lose trading capability ( as expected ) but I get real time data for exchanges I pay for and delayed data for the ones I don't pay fees to. Again, to be expected.

So, what is not expected is to lose data access just because I use CQG routing. I'm sure there is a technical reason for "post #18 not applicable to CQG" but I'm a user, not a tech guy. You should take care of no disruption for us, as advertised. Enough disruption the whole TT fiasco has caused already in my opinion.

If there really is no solution and I just have to put up with this, then I'll do that but then the switch was not really as painless as advertised.

At this point, this post is considered abusive towards us. We are not going to respond further. The data is not available through CQG. This thread is now locked. Your expectations are completely out of line here.

You can get the Sierra Chart EUREX data when using CQG but you need to pay for the exchange fee . You can do this here:
