i have a chart book with all the mtgox bitstamp btc-e charts set to 60 min and then a spreadsheet where i try to add all 3 feeds but i only get updates from the connected feed

And on this Spreadsheet, how do you "try to add all 3 feeds"? This is still not clear for us. If you are using a Quote Request symbol, it is not going to work.

So you all know the latest revision of version 983 of Sierra Chart supports trading on MTGox. We are going to be posting documentation for that soon. Hopefully tomorrow. While working on this, it is quite clear that the type of trading interface that MTGox provides and probably the other Bitcoin exchanges is far from the capabilities really needed for a quality trading front end like Sierra Chart. So there are limitations and potentially there could be some odd problems experienced. Could you provide basic info how to set up trading? What to put in as server? Also when I try and use it, it says my package doesn't support it. I have 3, and then put up evaluate 5, but still says I can't use it. Thank you.

We have got delayed with providing the documentation for MTGox trading. We do apologize for this. We hope to have it out tomorrow. There are basic reasons for the delays with Bitcoin trading: 1. Overall we just are very busy with many things and our highest priorities are to be supporting and improving existing functionality. 2. Services like MTGox, have substandard interfaces for trading which makes interfacing to them difficult and not entirely reliable. 3. Bitcoins can trade in fractions. This has created a problem where specifying quantities for trading gets to be very complicated and creates problems with existing trading services that most of our users are using. We have to be very careful not to do something within Sierra Chart where there is a potential risk, even if is very small, where order quantities have the potential for being incorrect just because we want to support bitcoin trading. After upgraded from 970 to newest version Saturday data has disappeared. This http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails7.html#RefreshWithData does not solve a problem.

Yes, I have it enabled and Sunday data are loading, but Saturday are not.

This makes no sense. This is an image from version 1011. You can clearly see Saturday data if you look at the time scale at the bottom: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=137655951867.png Also, updating to a new version does not cause data to disappear. That is not even technically possible unless you deleted that data. Did you perform some operation on the chart data to delete it? http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1376561357956.png Double vertical lines is where Saturday data is missing. I often use Delete All Data and Download because I travel a lot with notebook and experience connection problems which often break data, so I need to reload them once per few days. |

There is some Saturday data in that chart. We can see it, but it is less than there should be. We want you to do is to delete the data file by following the instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_IntradayDataEditor.html#DeletingDataFile And then open a new chart with File >> Find Symbol.
