Since Sunday as I have updated to non-CLR version 1072, I am periodically receiving message(example from this morning):
An unhandled exception was caught in c_Chart::WindowProc. Message: 15, wParam: 0, lParam: 0 | 2014-01-07 06:19:36
An unhandled exception was caught in c_Chart::WindowProc. Message: 15, wParam: 0, lParam: 0 | 2014-01-07 06:19:39
An unhandled exception was caught in c_Chart::WindowProc. Message: 15, wParam: 0, lParam: 0 | 2014-01-07 06:23:11
and charts are frozen.
No adjustments to my charts has been done and been using them at current set-up with great satisfaction since July 2013.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could you update Sierra Chart again to version 1073. Update by selecting Help >> Download Current Version.

If that does not help, try restarting your computer. This is something that we normally do not recommend but because this is related to window drawing, maybe there is some sort of graphics issue that will be cleared with a restart.

Thank you for your response. I have updated to 1075 non-CLR version and after that re-started PC. The same message related to "unhandled exceptions"as before showed 3 minutes after all charts downloaded ( see end of log below):

Thank you for getting back to me. I had 1 advanced custom study( Custom MIDAS VWAP), so I had deleted this from all my charts and rebooted PC. The issue was the same. Upon inspection of log, I noticed that unhandled exception message started after 2 specific charts were downloaded. As they were not essential for my trading, I have deleted them, exit SC, re-started PC, but nothing changed and message with "unhandled exception" (see below) still pops after a few minutes, freezing charts.

Chart #22 has tagged chart #8 for full recalculation. Chartbook: AUD-USD Workstation JAPAN normal winter time.cht | 2014-01-08 16:18:26

Attach the Chartbook you are using which this issue occurs with and we will test it. You can attach it privately so that only we can see it. Here are the instructions:

We tested your Chartbook for 2 hours and saw no exceptions.

We suspect this is an operating system issue on your side having to do with a large number of charts.

This is what we recommend: Use the non-CLR version of Sierra Chart.

Start with a single chart without any studies and then gradually add to the set up until you see the problem to get an idea of where the problem is.

The other thing is you are using one of the User Contributed Studies and we were not using that study because we did not have the associated DLL file. It would seem unlikely, but possibly the problem is with that study.

Thank you very much for your help. I have done both suggested steps( cutting down on opened charts and using non-CLR version) and it works. Also, FYI, over the weekend I have updated to version 1077 and been trading Sunday FX Asia session now for 3 hours with "previous" charts and they also seem to work again as before.
In every case, once again, your support is great and very much appreciated.
