A question that has come up among several users is a limitation for 4 years with Historical Daily Continuous Contract charts.

In 1071 this has been increased to 10 years.

This may be subject to change based upon the number of queries to our historical data system and our cost of this. But for the time being we have increased it to 10 years.

If you are using your own market data feed account, the Sierra Chart Real-time Futures data feed, then the years back limit is even higher. It is 20 years.

We have pulled prerelease 1071 for the time being. A couple of users have reported an unhandled exception error that is occurring. We are not certain of the cause of this. We should have the problem resolved today.

We have temporarily removed version 1078. There is a problem we are looking into with chart updating.

Version 1078 has now been released again. The issue with chart updating is now resolved.

To update Sierra Chart select Help >> Download Prerelease.

The next thing we are going to be doing for Continuous Futures Contracts is adding a new feature to display a vertical line on the chart, where every rollover occurs . Beside that line there will also be displayed the contract month and year to indicate what particular futures contract it is.

Some low-level performance improvements will also be done.
