Bitmex overriding/cancelling orders?

Support Request:

Hi. I noticed that my orders to Bitmex were getting automatically cancelled when trying to enter a new position.
I believe this occurs when on the bitmex website one has the "Reduce only" checkbox checked off. I wouldn't expect that it would affect orders sent from SC, but I believe it does. When I unchecked it on the website, I was able to send orders. Let me know if you need any files from me to diagnose the issue.

Also are you looking to implement stop limit orders for this exchange via the order entry ui? I currently can select that option but cannot enter a limit price.

Good work so far, keep it up.

Thanks

Your first question you need to ask BitMEX about this.

In regards to Stop-Limit Orders, these are supported. Refer to:

Ok thanks. At first I thought the grayed out dropdown under the stop dropdown was where I was supposed to enter limit. understood now

Will try to followup with BitMEX. But thought that people might want to be aware of this.

Same applies to me, Bitmex is cancelling new orders when entering a new position its just frustrating. The reduce option is not ticked and applies to limit orders but I am sending market order. I also noticed on logs that on logs timeinforce = immediate or cancel but trade window is showing goodtillcancel.

Simulation mode works fine all positions are entered and exited successfully.

Make sure you are looking at the correct Trade Window:

I have attached the correct window, but this is the response i got from Bitmex and the image attached for reference

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

The Engine Team have investigated and found that this order was cancelled because it was a close order and there was no open position.

It appears that the order that filled right before it, 8a0c2ba, closed out the position.

Regards,
Chad
