Do you want real-time data for $VIX? If so you need to use an external paid data feed. For the $TICK you can use the market statistics data feed available with package 3. Refer to help topic 66 here: Http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails66.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Therefore you will need to use the Sierra Chart Historical Data service: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartHistoricalData.html Here is an example chart for $VIX: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1377655717196.png All of the data appears to be present. During market hours there will be about a 10 to 30 minute delay. For $TICK just open a chart through File >> Find Symbol >> Market Stats. That will be real-time. In regards to the session times. Not sure why you are getting those. Adjust them as documented here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#SessionTimes Also make sure you have the correct time zone: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TimeZone.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Actually, the Data/Trade Service Settings window where the time zone is set is prompted to be displayed after the initial installation. There is a prompt asking whether you want to change the settings.
