Hi

For some reason every evening around 545pm (NYC) I lose the last daily bar in the following metals - SI, PL and PA.

Sometimes they come back not long after the night open but other times they dont come back for a while eg - it is now 711pm and I still have no daily bar for these 3 metals (pics attached) I try delete and download data but this still doesnt bring back the bar. When the bar is ready to be seen again (but i never really know when this is) doing the delete and download data is what will bring it back.

Any ideas?? All other symbols, no problem.

Thanks

this used to happen to me.. now what happens is when the next day's bar opens at 5c, it will give the correct open & close but print the same high and low as yesterday even though it never traded

anyway, my solution is to disconnect from your data feed then reconnect and after it connects do the delete and download and make sure to right click before the missing/incorrect bar

We will have to do some testing to see what the problem is.

We have had a closer look at this now.

What appears to be happening is IQ Feed is not providing the historical daily bar data for the day which has just closed and the new bar you see which is very small, is for the following trading day.

When this happens go to Edit >> Edit Data-Historical Chart. Go to the very end of the file in the editor and look at the last date. If you are looking at the file, in the New York evening after the day trading session has finished and the evening session has begun, and you do not see a date which corresponds to the date of the day session which has just completed, then IQ Feed is not providing the data. In this case please contact IQ Feed about this.

To make sure the file is completely up to date, select Edit >>Download Data-Historical Chart.
