Looks as though you have the wrong service selected. You are using CTS T4 but you have CTS T4 FIX selected. The FIX interface is still under development and not yet ready.

You need to select the service named "CTS T4" in File >> Data/Trade Service Settings.

no luck. I switched it to fix because the cts was not working. I opened a new chart book and it still didn't work. Everything worked fine then stopped working when I changed contracts for the next month. Now it tells me the symbol is unknown to the server. I'm pulling the symbol from file>find symbol.

There was a dictation error in the prior response. We meant to say "Message Log".

Thank you for letting us know, we would not know unless you made this posting.

Could you contact your broker and ask them if your account is authorized for this particular market:

Yes I am authorized. It worked this morning and then I changed the contract and all my charts are giving me the same error.

We have verified you are using the correct symbol. The server is clearly rejecting that symbol on your account.

The procedure in this case is that T4 support has to be contacted to determine what the problem is. They will need the log files. This is the location of the T4 logs:
C:\SierraChart\Trace\T4Logs

This is the contact information for CTS T4:
http://ctsfutures.com/contact.aspx

This is one reason among many that we are changing the connection to FIX. Trying to debug problems with the T4 API is just too involved and frustrates the customer. A lot of times users think that we are able to resolve these issues. We are not and we have no idea what is going on and the broker has no idea what is going on either.

It got it to work. It's something on your end with the chart books. If I click on ic> choose any of those and then change to a new contract then they work. It's something with Chart books.

It has nothing to do with Chartbooks. The symbol that we saw on the Message Log you provided was the correct symbol. We tested it. It did work for us and it was rejected by the server in your case.
