Hi Tom I saw your study and since a long time I was asking here on the forum the possibility to use Excel file as input but the answer was no so I'm using the horizontal lines study. What I do is a little more complicated that the other user request and it is like this:
Each morning I have a personal excel file where for each futures and mainly for the bund I have 5 range levels up and 5 down with input the close of the prior day.
this range levels are not fix i.e. 10 ticks but in the case of the bund 50/68/80/90/100 ticks from the close and the same below the close.
I input the prior close get the output levels and input them manually into the Sierra Horizontal line study so, is it complicated for you to modify the published study to do this and let the range levels as input to be modified for different futures i.e Dax where I use 100/130/170/200 ticks?
Thx
Alberto
