Default loosing time and sales windows

When I first setup 3 time and sales windows in the same chartbook they worked fine, now, a couple upgrades later they dissapear every couple of days. WHY? I have to keep going back to one of you automatic backups es80.cbak open it than save as es.cht (also have saved it as es..cht in the past)
I always use the save option when exiting the progran but the save does not seem to always work. Also on this page on another screen I have several charts two are overlaied ontop of others, but when I go between chart books or reload/open the chartbook I always have to click one of the charts to get it forward, this should not be. I save it the way I want it but it never comes back as saved. Again WHY? These little problems are flustrating and should not occure. What other info do you need to see the problem and get it fixed?
I went to attaqch files below but it would not give the option to attach the 3 files that I figure you need.

We do not see the problem that you describe with the Time and Sales windows. Make certain that when you close your chartbook, the time and sales windows are visible. If they are not visible, then go to the chart that you want a time and sales window for and select Chart >> Open Time and Sales Window. If it does not appear, then select Chart >> Reset Child Windows (you need the newest version for this).

We can assure you that when you select Yes to Save All on a program exit that all chartbooks are saved. It's impossible for them not to be.

When switching between chartbooks, the last active chart will always be reactivated. Do you see otherwise? This should not be. As far as the order of the other charts, that can change and you can control the order under Window >> Windows and Chartbooks.

What are the file extensions of the files you wanted to attach?

I have version 601

http://www.sierrachart.com/userimage...ploadImage.png
top link is how I save my charts

http://www.sierrachart.com/userimage...ploadImage.png
this link is what happens when I change to my gold page than come back to the ES page as you can see the charts on the right (different screen) show up with the es chart on the left under 2 other charts, this always happens. I can bring the esu0 1.50mg chart to the front save all than go to the gold chartbook and back again and it will have the 2 other charts on top. EVERY TIME

The first link is how I save my charts when I close down, the link that follows is actually another chart book that I saved showing what happens quite regularly with the missing time and sales windows. Plus look at the charts on the right how the 1.50 mg chart has 2 others on top not the way it was saved.
http://www.sierrachart.com/userimage...ploadImage.png
What I have to do is go the the chart that serria saved as a .cbak chartbook open it than save as es.cht than the next time or 2 it will be ok but eventually the t&s windows will dissappear when chartbook is opened.

I was going to attach my chart books with the extensions cbak and cht

Again I go to the additional options below where I am tping click on the blue attach files and nothing happens.

Do you need more info to get these problems solved? If so what?

About the Time and Sales windows, why don't you just go to the associated chart and select Chart >> Open Time and Sales Window to open them? Do they appear in this case, if not, then the issue is most likely going to be a problem with your system causing them to move offscreen. In that case, your only solution is to go to the associated chart and select Chart >> Reset Child Windows.

It does not help to provide your chartbooks. And you should have no trouble attaching a chartbook file.

As far as the window ordering goes after switching/opening chartbooks, you can control the order under Window >> Windows and Chartbooks.

At this time we don't really see how we can offer solutions because the issues you are describing really have to do with window management by Windows. Although, we will see about remembering active detached chart window when switching chartbooks.

We can see that floating chart windows are not listed under Window >> Windows and Chartbooks. We will add support for this and we will review everything you have said and see what we can do.

If you can answer the question about whether using Chart >> Open Time and Sales Window restores a time and sales window, that will help us understand the issue and see if there is anything we can do to resolve this specific issue you are having.

Also the menu commands we refer to are the current names in the latest version, 619. So you may want to update.

We apologize for being a little resistant initially to your reports of issues. We have quite a lot of work to do and sometimes certain things are just beyond our control. But we will do our best with the issues you have presented.

I up graded to 619

I did as you requested above to open time and sales and they did reappear and were set to the peramaters that I previously had set (all, on one, than >50 and >200) the last 2 were on hidden charts with little data as suggested in you instructions. FYI they do not show up under window/windows and chartbooks (as you already know), on the main serria screen and neither do any of the floating windows. All the t&s windows are set to float even though they are on the main screen (laptop) but can be moved to the second screen. I doubt if that has anything to do with the problem seeing how it is only T$S that dissapears.

Hope this helps and sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.

We think we know what the problem is with the Time and Sales windows not always being visible when you reopen a chartbook, and that will be solved.
