Time Range Highlight Study bug
There seems to be a peculiar bug with the Time Range Highlight study, such that the highlighting doesn't extend below the value "1" on the Y-axis. The Time Range Highlight Transparent study appears...

Re: Version 899 scroll problem...
The "Goto" feature is great when you want to jump a significant distance (e.g. go back 3 weeks on a 1-min chart). For moving to a chart point that's reasonably close to the boundary of the currently...

Re: Version 899 scroll problem...
The scrollbar works, but its much slower and is less convenient. During the trading day, I often want to scroll back a few hours (on a low resolution chart) or see the end of the previous trading...

Re: Version 899 scroll problem...
Did a bit more experimentation and here are the steps to reproduce:
1) Create a new Intraday chart (if you scroll it via the Hand tool, everything works fine at this point)
2) Set Link Number...

I see the exact same issue with v900. Several linked charts open. If I scroll one of them quickly (using the Hand tool), then the one I am scrolling doesnt update at all until I stop scrolling,...

Re: Memory allocation issues with v900
Ok. So to make sure that I only allocate the memory once for the study, is it safe to set "PersistVars->i1 = 0" in sc.SetDefaults, then allocate the memory in the main block if the value is 0? Or is...

Memory allocation issues with v900
I upgraded to v900 (from v877) and found that my ACSIL study that used to allocate memory and keep a pointer to that memory in sc.PersistVars is now causing CPU exceptions when applied to a price...

Ok. I would very much like the gridlines back, if possible.

Attached is a screenshot of the exact same chart (all the same settings) from v877. As you can see, it has both vertical/horizontal gridlines, and the highlight color is considerably lighter for some...

New UI Bug
I just upgraded from v877 to v887 and found that chart gridlines are now getting covered up by the Time Range Highlight study. This is a change from before, and is not a desirable change.
Please...

Re: .scid files are extremely large
That makes sense. And agree that with compression, file size isnt really an issue. Not suggesting that this should be a priority for development.
Just noting that if you wanted to achieve maximum...

Re: .scid files are extremely large
I think there are significant inefficiencies in terms of how Sierra saves tick data in SCID files. I have a tick data ASCII file (four columns - date/time/price/volume) that's 584MB on disk. When I...

Re: Rounding question
It appears that your guidance on rounding is incorrect. Using the Retracement tool with the origin (100% level) at 95.71 and the peak (0% level) at 96.28, the 50% level is indicated as 95.99....
