The Zig Zag Cumulative Volume study calculates and draws the cumulative volume across each Zig Zag line.

The volume is drawn as volume bars in its own Chart Region.

The volume resets at the start of a new Zig Zag line. This means that the Cumulative Volume resets at the next bar after the change in direction and not at that point.
